Meet the Buses

Carl Jung once said "Personality is the supreme realization of the innate idiosyncracy of a bus". Only, he might have said 'human being', rather than 'bus' - we'll get back to you on that! Whilst you wait, why not familiarise yourself with our fleet of party buses and their, erm... natural habitats?

Abigail (Newcastle)

Abigail is our Treasure of the Tyne. She doesn't spend much time in the water (you know, being a bus and all), but checking her manufacturers information it turns out that Abigail was originally carved out of crystal by an Egyptian priest as a gift to PharoahTutankhamun during the peak of his reign. Archaeologists found the bus during a routine excavation and, rather than donate the giant jewel to a museum, gave it working parts and sent it out into the streets of Newcastle. It is serving the people of the city as one of the most illustrious party buses in the country.

Delilah (Glasgow)

We've always suspected Delilah had a bit of party in her. She was found abandoned a few years ago as a small hatchback and was raised by a group of travelling cabaret dancers with a passion for loud music. Her upbringing couldn't have been easy, being on the road so much - but what she gained was a steely determination and a can(-can)-do attitude. She grew up into a magnificent adult party bus and is currently working for us here at CCB, where she loves to share her dancing days with the people of Glasgow!

Fiona (Leeds)

Once upon a time a small princess called Fiona was minding her own business, making her way through a forest when she was approached by an old lady in a weathered cloak, seemingly in distress. Wanting to show compassion, Fiona offered the old lady assistance. The old lady though was just jealous of Fiona's youth and natural beauty, and cast a spell over Fiona so that she would sleep forever, or until the spell was broken by love's first kiss. She was rescued 8 years ago by a prince, and they got married. The prince had to work a lot though, and realising the relationship was going nowhere Fiona decided that the best thing she could to was to start afresh. She she got a divorce and applied for a job at CCB as our London party bus - it was a match made in heaven! Well, now we have a new London bus, Fiona is away up North to Leeds and Newcastle to continue her good service for Club Class

Nancy (Edinburgh)

In another life, Nancy fought crime. And she was good at it, too. From cases involving missing pets, to money laundering - Nancy was on the case. By the age of 4, Nancy had been involved in the capture of over 72 criminals and the successful prosecution of another 23. Things were going well until she upset the mob and had to go into witness protection, where she started her identity as a UK party bus. The case involving the mob has long since cleared, but Nancy realised that making sure the people of Edinburgh enjoyed a good night out was a better way of life than the one she had before, so has been doing it ever since.

Peggy (Manchester)

Peggy was conceived in a laboratory by a mad scientist who'd watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang one too many times. Obsessed with Dick Van Dkye and vehicles taking on a life of their own, Professor Markus Scottus bought a normal bus and connected it to a supercomputer. Whilst he failed to give the bus the ability to fly, he was able to create an artificial intelligence that would control the evolution of the bus and give it a purpose. What he didn't expect is for the AI to have the mental capacity of a girl in her early 20's, who - instead of wanting to take over the world - just wants to get out and party. Dismayed, the scientist sold the bus to CCB and Peggy now enjoys her nights and weekend livening up Manchester City Centre.

Maggie (London)

Maggie used to walk the streets of Dublin, but once the Irish economy imploded she got fed up and decided like all good Irish people to make her fortune in London. So here she is now in South London, all dressed up in black with luminescent stars on hers cavorting through the streets of central London. On a Saturday night you will find her driving from bar to bar. Like anybody from Ireland, she loves a good party and boy is she loud!
